In Woodstock’s narrow streets, where life bustles about in the busy rush of life, the elderly move at a gentler rhythm. Some sit on stoeps, their eyes carrying both the weight of history and the ease of watching another day unfold. They have lived through shifting skylines—homes broken down, new towers raised—and yet their presence roots the neighborhood, like anchors against the tide of change.
Here, NOAH—Neighbourhood Old Age Homes—offers more than shelter. It creates spaces of dignity, where elders are not forgotten but cherished. In modest houses, laughter spills from shared kitchens, and the smell of stew carries down the passage. Stories are told, prayers whispered, and hands clasped in companionship. With each bed, each meal, each moment of care, NOAH stitches a safety net where once there might have been only silence or isolation.
In Woodstock, where art shouts from the walls, it is the quiet resilience of its elders—and the compassion of those who stand with them—that writes the truest story. As a part of this community, I want to celebrate and give back to projects such as NOAH that bring true humanity and hospitality back into focus. With this in mind, all products containing the colour NOAH Green, which matches' the charity's signage, will be a part of this effort. 10% of sales of these products is donated to NOAH.
