Hadedas have a wonderful depth of colour to their somewhat simple feathers. Eventually I settled on recreating the warm purplish-brown-grey (if such a colour exists) in this paint. It can be used in a range of browns, or in a range of greys. In its most concentrated form it has a beautiful, matt, semi-opaque finish. At its most diluted, it makes for a lovely subtle, transparent wash.
